Grant Hendrickson - Owner
Grant Hendrickson’s 15 years of experience as a musical director, producer and performer, along with his “make it happen” attitude has made him an invaluable asset to clients seeking entertainment and to the performers he represents.
In addition to working as a singer/songwriter in Los Angeles, Grant has performed all over the world with the wildly successful vocal band, The Cats Pajamas. He was featured on the TV shows America’s Got Talent and The Next Great American Band, and at Oprah Winfrey’s Trip of a Lifetime. Grant spent three tours with The Second City in their BoatCo division as Musical Director on board Norwegian Cruise Line. He directed and sang with the A Cappella group, The MadHatters, winning several BOCA awards (Best of College A Cappella), and produced their best-selling album “Friday After Class.” Other awards include “Best Music 2010” at the SATO48 Film Festival, and the “S.T.Y.L.E. Medallion” for Exemplary Service and Excellence for Norwegian Cruise Lines. He has created a wedding entertainment division and is excited to offer brides and grooms personalized entertainment that ensures for a smooth, fun and memorable day.
Grant has a Bachelor of Music and is certified in Choral and General Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His strong belief in education and passion for the arts led to the creation of the Music in Schools Promotional Tour, which has raised over $20,000 for music education programs. Grant now resides in East Lansing, MI, and is thrilled to be settled back in the Midwest. You can catch him live at Capital Prime on periodic Friday and Saturday nights.
Sarah Hendrickson - Lead Facilitator
Sarah Hendrickson is an Instructor of Improvisation in the Department of Theatre at Michigan State University, and an Institute Teaching Artist for Wharton Center for Performing Arts in East Lansing, MI.
She is a professional improviser, actress, teacher, producer, and Event Coordinator for EYP's flourishing wedding division. Before re-locating to East Lansing, MI, she worked in Chicago performing with several theaters, including The Second City with their Music House Ensemble and on Norwegian Cruise Line. She has hosted workshops and performed in tailored comedy sketches for corporate clients including Yahoo! Hewlett Packard, and US Cellular.
As a member of the actors unions SAG and AFTRA, Sarah has appeared in several TV commercials, voice-overs, and as a recurring on-air personality for KRBK-FOX, where she also wrote and produced vignettes. She has worked as a Casting Director in Chicago and Detroit for commercials, industrials, radio, television and film. She has also used her unique skill set as Creative Director for Entertain You Productions and serving as
Sarah continues to educate, drawing upon her experience teaching improvisation at places like Columbia College and After School Matters in Chicago, Laugh Out Loud in Schaumburg IL, and The Skinny Improv in Springfield MO. Sarah is a proud alumni and former Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University, earning a Master of Arts in 2004.

Jess Black
Jess has been performing improv for over 7 years, and is an acting member of two different teams on MSU's campus: Second Stage Improv and Roial Improv Players. For many years she has served as a camp counselor and loves working with kids. Her favorite activities include performing improv, watching musicals, and being with friends! Grant Cleaveland
Grant began teaching children’s theatre workshops in 2016 as an intern at the Springville Center for the Arts in upstate New York. As the current chair of Second Stage Productions, a MSU student producing body for innovative works of theatre, Grant is a founder and current leader of the Second Stage Improv Troupe. Grant’s Michigan State/Summer Circle Theatre credits include: The Monkey King, Theatre2Film: Sorta Late, Punk Rock, Urinetown, Peter/Wendy, Bike America, Bob: A Life in Five Acts, The Great Gatsby, and Thus With A Kiss I Die. Grant will be seen next as Ethan in One Good Day at the Wharton Center in September, as a part of the Imagen Project. Grant is a senior at Michigan State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.
Brandon Drap
Brandon has been thriving in the improv and theatre community in the Lansing area since he started pursuing his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theater at Michigan State University. He has been the supervising Counselor at Oakland Yard Summer Camp for the past two years, where he lead many improvisational and theater arts workshops. Brandon is excited to work with this awesome crew and can't wait to see what these summer sessions have in store!
Shelby Eppich
Shelby often works creating theatre with children with special needs, pursuing the "Theatre for All" movement. She is also a Collaborative Instructor 4th Wall Theatre Company, working with people of all abilities, providing fun, creative, and therapeutic activity for children (and adults!) with special needs. Shelby is currently a junior at MSU studying Stage Management and Acting.
